Carbon fiber is rarely used in electric bicycles, but with the upgrade of consumption, carbon fiber electric bicycles are gradually accepted.
For example, the latest carbon fiber electric bicycle developed by the British CrownCruiser company uses carbon fiber materials in the wheel hub, frame, front fork and other parts.
The e-bike is relatively light thanks to the use of carbon fiber, which keeps the total weight, including the battery, at 55 lbs (25 kg), with a carrying capacity of 330 lbs (150 kg) and an expected starting price of $3,150.
Ryuger Bikes from Western Australia also announced the 2021 Eidolon BR-RTS carbon fiber electric bike. It is reported that it combines advanced aerodynamics and carbon fiber design to control the weight of the vehicle to 19 kg.
And mainstream car companies such as BMW and Audi have also launched their carbon fiber electric bicycle
solutions.
The higher cruising range of carbon fiber electric bicycles, as well as the sturdy body and light structure, make its application more convenient.
