Kimoa has just announced that it will be launching an electric bike. Even though we’ve come to know the variety of products recommended by F1 drivers, the Kimoa e-bike is a surprise.
Powered by Arevo, the all-new Kimoa e-bike features a true unibody construction 3D printed from a continuous carbon fiber thermoplastic composite.
Where other carbon fiber bikes have frames that are glued and bolted together using dozens of individual components and previous-generation thermoset composites, Kimoa’s bikes have no seams or adhesives for seamless strength.
In addition, a new generation of thermoplastic materials makes it extremely lightweight, extremely impact-resistant, and incredibly ecologically sustainable.
“At the heart of Kimoa’s DNA is our commitment to creating a more sustainable way of life. The Kimoa e-bike, powered by Arevo, is tailored for each cyclist, moving people towards a positive, sustainable lifestyle,” said the person involved. Lifestyle has taken a carefully planned step.”
Kimoa electric bikes are manufactured using Arevo’s advanced 3D printing process, allowing for an unprecedented level of customization, customizing the frame, rider height, weight, arm and leg length, and riding position. With over 500,000 possible combinations, the Kimoa Electric Bike is the most versatile carbon fiber bike ever built.
Every Kimoa e-bike will be completely customized to its individual.
Electric bikes can be fully charged in two hours and travel up to 55 miles. It features integrated data and power wiring throughout the frame, enabling various electronic upgrades. Other options include a variety of riding styles, wheel materials and finishes.
